2005 Exhibits

January 8-30 - Birds of Flight. Wildlife Artist Adam Nisbet, a talented yound and upcoming artist from St. James, MO., whose art reflects his love of the natural world. Winner of the 2004 Federal Jr. Duck Stamp.

February 5-27 - America Me? Celebrating Aftican American Month at the MHAM with the art of Danny Street. Featuring 50 iconic paintings by Street's depiction of his joy, pain, sunshine and rain of being an 'American of the African Descent'.

March 5-27 - Religious Sites Around the World of Yesterday and Today. Art of Bill Kohn, a widely traveled painter, applies tense color and large scale to series of work based on a specific area. The paintings are at once abstract and descriptive with bold brushwork, yet maintaining a strong sense of place. Winner of the Missouri 2002 Art Award.

April 2-24 - 5th Annual Juried Regional High School Exhibition

May 1-29 - 20th Annual Harwell Mail-in Art Show. A nationwide juried competition of original artwork fitting into a 10"x13" envelope.

June 4-26 - Missouri Fiber Artists. A traveling exhibition encompassing all areas of fiber art from traditional to contemporary and functional to pure expression.
