Five Views of the MIDWEST
An exhibit of paintings by artists Jeff Aeling, Tim Anderson, Ahzad Bogosian, Michael Dubina and Jeff Vaughn. Their artwork will be on display during the 10th Annual Arts Festival on Saturday, October 4, 2003. The exhibit runs through Sunday, October 26.
Aeling paints the turbulent skies of the Midwest's prairies, Anderson deals with the intrusion of highways, overpasses and cloverleafs into the landscape and Vaughn examines the intricacies of plant life. Bogosian and Dubina both share a neo-romantic approach to their depictions of rural Missouri and Illinois.
All five artists are published and have exhibited widely across the country. Their works are part of many corporate, private and museum art colections in the United States.
