The Poplar Bluff Artists' Guild held its 51st Annual Regional Exhibit at MHAM, November 6-28. This exhibit has been sponsored every year since its inception by Commerce Bank.

The exhibit is a competition open to anyone 18 years of age or older residing within 100 miles of Poplar Bluff. Entrants are allowed to enter three original works of art (two of any size, one miniature) never before exhibited in Butler County. Categories for art work are Oil, Acrylic, 3 Dimensional, Watercolor, Mixed Media, Graphic Arts (pastels, pencil, ink, computer arts, etc.), Fiber (weaving, batik, etc.), and Miniature. Cash prizes were awarded as merited in each category for first, second, and third places. A Best of Show was awarded, as well as a People's Choice Award.
