You are invited to enter the 53nd Annual Poplar Bluff Artists' Guild Regional Art Exhibit at the Margaret Harwell Art Museum, 421 N. Main, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901.

October 28 Entries accepted at the Margaret Harwell Art Museum from 10:00 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Nov 5 - Nov 26 Exhibit
November 5 Opening Reception 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
November 26 All work must be picked up between 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. or
November 27 Between 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Work Eligible
The exhibit is a competition open to anyone 18 years of age or older residing within 100 miles of Poplar Bluff.
Artist may submit two entries from the seven media categories. Work must not have been exhibited before in Butler County. All entries must be ORIGINAL. Picture's surface cannot measure more than 48" in any dimension. All work must be appropriately framed and wired for hanging. NO SAW-TOOTHED hangers will be accepted. Pastels, Watercolors, and Graphic Arts MUST be under glass. All Oils must be completely dry. The Exhibit Committee reserves the right to reject entries. Entries will be accepted at the owner's risk. The Poplar Bluff Artists' Guild and the Margaret Harwell Art Museum will not be responsible for any artwork left at the museum after December 11, 2005.
Margaret Harwell Art Museum will receive 20% commission on sales of artwork.
Entry Fee
$20.00 will be payable when entries are accepted. This fee will include 2006-2007 Poplar Bluff Artists' Guild membership.

Oil, Acrylic, 3 Dimensional, Watercolor, Mixed Media, Graphic Arts (pastels, pencil, ink, computer arts, etc.), Fiber (weaving, batik, etc.)

Honorable Mention Ribbon

A People's Choice Award will be voted on during the exhibit and will be awarded at the end of the exhibit. Prize money and ribbons will be given in all categories as merited.

Opening Reception
Dr. and Mrs. Milton Eichmann of the Poplar Bluff Artists' Guild will host an Opening Reception honoring participating artists on Sunday, November 5, 2005 at the Margaret Harwell Art Museum, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Silent Auction
A new feature of the Regional Art Exhibit this year is a silent auction for original artwork donated by many of the artists in the show. Final bids will be accepted at 2:00 p.m. on November 26. Don't miss this opportunity to acquire fine art at reasonable prices and help support the Poplar Bluff Artists' Guild.
