The 18th Annual Harwell Mail-In Art Show was held at the museum in May. Thirty artists from across the country entered over fifty works of art. Winner of the Purchase Award was Marceline Saphian of Chesterfield, MO. for her work entitled Let It Be a Dance. First place was presented to Sy Ellens of Kalamazoo, MI. for his painting Two Rivers Meet. Second place went to Glass Chocolates by Erna Garber of Fenton, MO. Third place and the People's Choice award went to The Sickness by Jim Tierney of Carbondale, IL.
