ARTIST'S LECTURE/VISUAL PROGRAM

Presented by artists Terry Martin and Sarah Williams

Sunday, March 26, 2006 1:00 p.m.

Artwork by Terry Martin and Sarah Williams will be on exhibit at MHAM during the month of March. It is a collaborative traveling exhibit put together b Martin and Williams through William Woods University's Mentor/Mentee program. They explore various art media and techniques in an effort to convey the beauty of the natural world. Through their work, they hope to teach viewers about the media and inspire interest in art and nature. Their mission statement says, "We hope the outcome of our work will encourage conservation practices and public appreciation for natural resources...We hope viewers of our works of art will react to our visual stimulus with a desire to make their own discoveries, whether this is through art or interaction with nature."
