| Adam Nesbett won the US Fish and Wildlife Service's Federal Junior Duck Stamp competition in 2004. His winning entry, entitled 'Morning Watch', is an acrylic painting of two fulvous whistling ducks. At age 17, Nisbett is familiar with the Duck Stamp contest; he has entered every year since the age of eleven. His entry each year has won first place in his age group, in addition to winning Best of Show in Missouri, national Top 10 and honorable mention awards.
Nisbett is in his second semester at the University of Missouri-Rolla, where he will probably major in mechanical engineering. More of his work can be viewed on his website at www.adam-nisbett.com. |
