Exhibits

Caleb Knodell Exhibit
The paintings of Caleb Knodell are characterized by a combination of surreal figuration and abstraction. They often exhibit particular color or mood backdrops with objective and nonobjective objects fluidly interacting in often funny, awkward or argumentative ways.
Knodell was born in 1987 in Poplar Bluff, MO. He has lived and studied internationally. Knodell apprenticed with renowned Norwegian figurative painter Odd Nerdrum. He has exhibited internationally in Spain. Caleb’s art will be on display through June 6.

Jessie Gargas Exhibit
The Margaret Harwell Art Museum is pleased to welcome Jessie Cargas to share her sculptural vision with us in June! Jesse’s 3-D work will compliment the paintings of Caleb Knodell, who’s work will remain on exhibit through June. Jessie was one of the artists featured in the “Art on the Move” program that had city governments rent or purchase original outdoor art all over the state. The Friends of Margaret Harwell rented “Galaxy” by Jessie.
They liked it so much, they bought it!
